Food Pantry Expands with New Refrigerated Storage

The Thursday Food Pantry at St. Clement’s continues to expand its reach in the Harborview community. Under the tireless leadership of Deacon John Adeyemi and a dedicated team of volunteers, the pantry now serves more than two hundred families each month — a number that has grown steadily since the ministry’s founding in 2009.

This month, the parish has partnered with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to secure a new refrigerated storage unit, allowing us to offer fresh produce, dairy, and protein alongside our regular dry goods distribution. „Dignity means more than a box of canned food,“ said Deacon Adeyemi. „It means fresh vegetables. It means choices. It means being seen as a whole person.“

Volunteers are welcome every Thursday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Whether you can commit weekly or offer an hour once a month, your hands and heart are needed. Please contact outreach@stclements.org to learn more or to sign up.
